In accordance with HM King Abdullah II's directions to assist needy community groups, and in line with the company’s commitment to contributing to the improvement of citizens’ standards of living, Jordan Dubai Capital announced its support of the Food Bank campaign, which comes as part of the “Kulluna Ahl” initiative launched by the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) during the holy month of Ramadan with the aim of helping poverty-stricken families face the burdens of increased living expenses.

The company distributed food packages to 500 families, in addition to providing monetary support to 60 families, valued at JOD 85 per family. “We hope this initiative reflects JD Capital's devotion to reinforcing values of solidarity within the community, especially in the face of the difficult economic and living circumstances we are currently experiencing and which have been exacerbated by the rise in the prices of basic commodities around the world. Our efforts during the holy month of Ramadan allow us to emphasize our ongoing and active duty with this regard,” said H.E. Mr. Samir Al-Rifa'i, CEO of Jordan Dubai Capital. Eng. Mr. Omar Maani, Mayor of Amman, commented on the company's efforts and stated: “We are proud of the initiative shown by a pioneering Jordanian company like Jordan Dubai Capital and its contribution to this campaign.” Mr. Maani also called on private sector institutions to follow in the steps of Jordan Dubai Capital in its social responsibility efforts in order to achieve the initiative's goals in supporting impoverished families and promoting compassion and solidarity within the community.
