Munya Specialized Resorts Announces the Start of the Largest Project in the North
Amman, September 2009 – Munya Specialized Resorts – one of the tourism development subsidiaries under Jordan Dubai Properties (JD Properties) – announced the signing of a construction agreement with the Ammoun Jordan Construction Company, a Grade A construction company that was awarded the tender issued by Munya Specialized Resorts last June. Ammoun will begin implementing phase one of the Munya Tourism Project that is the first eco-friendly tourism investment project of its kind in Dibbeen and one of the largest investment projects in the north of the Kingdom.
The project represents a comprehensive and fully integrated woodland resort that will include a number of hotel rooms, chalets and service facilities that are designed to blend in with the surrounding environment and are built according to environmental standards. The first phase of the project that will be implemented in cooperation with Ammoun will include the construction of the first resort villa and 30 of the hotel rooms that will offer its guests world-class services.

The project will be located in the heart of Dibbeen's forests in the north of Jordan on 250,000sqm of land through a strategic partnership with the Social Security Investment Unit (SSIU), and aims at adding to the wide variety of tourism experiences in Jordan and showcasing Dibbeen as a touristic destination and national treasure.
