Amman 21 November 2007 - As part of its ongoing efforts in supporting the local community, Jordan Dubai Capital (JD Capital) supported the King Hussein Cancer Foundation fundraising Gala dinner held on the 19th of November at the Four Seasons Amman. JD Capital participated as one of the platinum sponsors for the second year round.

The fundraising event was held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah and Her Majesty Queen Rania and was attended by representatives of different institutions and corporations. All proceedings of the event will be donated to the benefit of the King Hussein Cancer Center.

On this occasion, Samir Rifai CEO of JD Capital reiterated JD Capital's support to the King Hussein Cancer Foundation. He added:" It brings us great pleasure to be part of this great initiative; we believe that supporting such a cause is at the base of our belief in giving back to our society. We encourage all institutions and corporations to continue supporting this cause and help elevate the suffering."

The King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) was established in 1997 as the legal umbrella organization responsible for the King Hussein Cancer Center. The Foundation is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization run by a board of trustees comprised of a dedicated group of prominent volunteers and chaired by HRH Princess Ghida Talal.
