Amman, February 2008 - Jordan Dubai Capital sponsored a celebration to honor the winning students in the annual children’s environmental art contest, who participated in the annual calendar contest for 2008 “Our Environment and Recycling” organized by the Friends of the Environment Society (FOE), with the support and cooperation of the Children’s museum.

Representing Jordan Dubai Capital, Mr. Nidal Khawaja, General Manager of the Munya Specialized Resorts in Dibbeen, participated in presenting the awards to the winning students.

In his speech, Mr. Khawaja stressed the importance of using environmentally friendly technologies in all project development, given their benefits to the national economy and in order to limit any negative environmental impacts. He said, “We salute all those who do their share and act in an environmentally conscious manner in their daily life, work and projects.

We also salute those who are guided by a conscientious national spirit to protect their nation and preserve its resources in order to keep it beautiful in our eyes and the eyes of the world.” Mr. Khawaja reiterated Jordan Dubai Capital’s constant support in this regard and expressed his hopes that Jordan will become an example of a healthy pollution-free environment.
